Windy Slopes Health Foundation raises funds in support of vital priority health care equipment needs and programs delivered at Pincher Creek Health Centre. We’re here to enhance local health care for all of us in Pincher Creek and district. Our volunteer Board of Directors all live in the community. As stewards of donated dollars, we ensure your gifts are used wisely.
On behalf of local caregivers, the foundation thanks you for helping us see that Pincher Creek and district residents continue to receive the finest quality health care services available.

Due to generous donations made in our community, Windy Slopes was able to purchase a Bariatric Reclining Phlebotomy Chair and 2 Scales with height measurements. The chair is designed to provide patients with a comfortable and supportive seating arrangement during blood collection. They accommodate patients of diverse sizes and physical abilities, enhancing their comfort and minimizing anxiety during the procedure.

A Huge Thank You to everyone who donated to our Trees of Hope Campaign. We were able to meet our goal of $25,000 towards the renovation of the Palliative Care Family Room. We couldn't do it without the generosity of our wonderful community.
A special thank you to Rita Spencer and Joyce Taylor who posted close to 140 Christmas wishes on our Wall of Recognition at the Pincher Creek Health Centre.
The Health Centre staff room was in need of a fridge and Windy Slopes was pleased to purchase one. The staff will put it to good use during their well-deserved breaks.

This project was initiated to beautify and enhance the outdoor space areas and grounds for the enjoyment and benefit of the Health Centre patients, visitors, and staff and the general community. It came together in collaboration with Windy Slopes, Grumpy’s Greenhouse, Vitae and Pincher Creek Health Centre Maintenance staff. A special thanks goes out to Windy Slopes trustee Diane Burt Stuckey who dedicated many hours putting together plans and seeing the project through to this wonderful outcome
A big thank-you to our volunteers who helped put up cages around the new trees at the Pincher Creek Health Centre. These trees were in need of some protection from our local deer population that like to have a nibble on such tasty treats.
Our Trees of Hope Campaign is winding to a close and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who generously donated this year.
To date we have raised $31,565.00 with a few donations still rolling in. This exceeded our goal of $27,000.00 and once again we were overwhelmed with the generosity of our community.
Because of your donations, Windy Slopes will be able to purchase a Broselow Pediatric Cart & Lifepak 15. This will be a great asset to our pediatric unit, as it will provide our Doctors and Nurses what is needed for each pediatric age group in the event of an emergency.
Thank you again for your support. We appreciate each and every one of you.
Also a thanks to BJ Scott and Maggie Olson for the wonderful job they did on the Wall of Recognition.

UPDATE: We are very pleased to say that the CT scanner came online at the town’s health centre on April 10, 2023 (according to Scott Johnston, press secretary at Alberta’s Health Ministry). AHS funded the new CT outpatient services, including space and the new CT scanner. Patients will be served locally, reducing travel times, wait times and improving patient outcomes. This is a great asset to our community.
